CronAlarm has always used Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) for all alerts and reports in the CronAlarm dashboard and management interface. However, the ability for users to set a timezone preference has been one of our most requested features. We are happy to announce that this has been added to the CronAlarm platform!

By default CronAlarm will still use UTC, but you can now set a timezone preference under the Account menu in the management interface:

Timezone Preference Menu

You’ll have the option of setting your preference to match one of hundreds of cities around the world. And CronAlarm is also Daylight Saving Time aware so if you select a location that observes Daylight Saving Time your reports and alerts will automatically adjust.

Cheers!
